Thank you for visiting our website. We have designed this website to keep our family and friends updated on what’s going on with us in the Land of Cheese. We have included pictures, stories and facts in this site. We hope you enjoy your time while you browse the comings and goings of the Hoffman/Ladwig family.
Jay Hoffman and Linda Ladwig met on March 19, 2004 through the eharmony website. We believe that God brought us together for a purpose and are striving to live up to His purpose for our lives.
We met face to face on May 13, 2004 and began plans to become a family. No...we didn't say it out loud at that time, but we both felt that God was leading us in that direction. On August 13, 2004 it became official when Jay proposed to Linda in the parking lot of Interstate Engineering in Fergus Falls, MN (where Linda had been an Administrative Assistant for 3 1/2 yrs.). She said yes, and the rest as they say, is history!(or the future)
Jay and Linda were married in an intimate, candlelit setting with only their children and immediate families in attendance (except for the pastors and their wives and Linda's good friend Marci who served as a bridesmaid) at midnight...beginning the new year of 2005 as a new family. What a wonderful way to begin a new life together!
January 2, 2005...Linda and her 2 boys moved from Fergus Falls, MN to their new home in Milan, WI.

Hannah's 1st birthday
It doesn't feel like a year since we brought Miss Hannah home. She has changed so much since that first glimpse at her precious little face. The post is mostly photos of Hannah's birthday party. She did have 2 parties, but the pictures from her "playing with friends" birthday party didn't turn out. We celebrated her 1st birthday with family on October 8th. The menu included finger foods (appetizers) and of course, cake and ice cream. Her "playing with friends" party took place the following Thursday with 4 other babies in attendance (including her new baby sister, Lily). Grandma Kjos was there too to help by holding Lily so I could focus on Hannah. Here are some pictures of Hannah's 1st birthday.
